I think it was admirable of Cameron to send himself home on The Glee Project tonight. Cameron never had acting experience prior to the show and I don’t think he understood what being on Glee really meant. I know people hated on him when Lindsay kissed him and when he was asked to kiss Hannah but refused to but at least he fully stood for what he believed in. He is a musician, not an actor. He also gave his spot to someone who really wanted it, Damian.
I am normally don’t say anything about the Glee project because I don’t watch glee. I am watching it for certain reasons and I am addicted to reality television. However, this week I do have something to say since everyone is freaking out about Cameron choosing to leave.
I understand where Cameron is coming from. I can see myself doing the same thing. If you don’t understand the moral convictions then you have no idea how hard it is to be in that position. Do not get me wrong; I think Cameron is awesome! He is amazingly talented!
They make the experience that much more awesome. In fact, I’d rather have doubles in so many places. It provides some of the best derping, especially for people doing the same cosplay. So that they may make sure they’re never being ignored.
Inversely, I really, really can’t stand it when people try and make someone stop cosplaying something because they’ll be a double. Especially if the person who is being asked planned the cosplay first.
So being your Pottermore username is chosen for you and is completely unrelated to who you are, I could be chilling in the Great Hall next to Tom Felton, Evanna Lynch, Darren Criss or Chris Colfer and not even know it.
